Madaí (Mah-dah-EE) was only 8, but she faced a lifetime as a double amputee...there was an infection in the bones of both lower legs. She spent four months in the hospital, unable to walk. The smaller bone in one of her lower legs was removed, but doctors were pessimistic; they felt it was likely that they would have to remove both legs from the knees down.

As the churches of Peru (and our partners) prayed, GOD worked a miracle! What a joy to watch this little girl get up from her wheelchair and begin to walk! Within a week, she was running... So far, she has passed all of her medical checkups with flying colors.

God still heals!
