Machiguenga pastor hungers for God

Already sharing his new knowledge of the Word!

Pastor Sócrates Yupanqui (pronounced Yu-PAHN-kee) of Cusco recently baptized a Trinitarian Pastor from the Machiguenga (Mah-chee-GENG-gah) tribal village of Shipetiari (She-pet-tee-AH-ree) in the unchurched Manú province of the Department of (or State) of Madre de Dios.

Brother Wilmer is hungry for truth! His village only very recently re-opened to people from the outside to come in and minister the Gospel, after having some bad experiences in the past.

Brother Sócrates is in weekly contact with him, sending him Bible studies, etc., which Bro. Wilmer devours and asks for more. Please PRAY that he will receive the Holy Ghost baptism soon, so that he can TRULY minister the Gospel to his people!
