Awajún people awaken to Truth: Baptisms in New Village

The Awajuns (pronounced Ah-wah-HOON) are a large tribal group in the jungles of Peru. A few years ago, God opened the door to reach them with the Truth of the gospel.

Growth has been slow due to language barriers (there is even a necessity of inventing some Biblical terms that don't exist in their dialect) and the remoteness of the Awajun people, but God is working!

Recently, 13 people in a new area, the Awajún village of Kuso Chico, were baptized in Jesus' Name.
